Salt Spring 2 Pasco County, Florida is a natural fresh water spring. The location of this natural spring was obtained from Bulletin No.66 Springs of Florida published 2004 by the Florida Geological Survey. Additional information is provided by the author.

This information is intended for visitors, vacation planning, casual research and exploration. Canoeing, kayaking, camping, wildlife viewing, boating, swimming, and SCUBA, are popular recreactional pastimes at Florida's beautiful natural springs. While most of the major springs offer these opportunities, remember that not all springs are accessible to the public.

Today: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, then showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 83. Windy, with a south southwest wind 16 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Windy, with a southwest wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Thursday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8am, then a slight chance of showers between 8am and 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Windy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. West wind 5 to 11 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 84. West wind 3 to 6 mph.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 70. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Light south southwest wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 73. West southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 7 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 75.

Memorial Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 74.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
