Gum Springs No 4 Sumter County, Florida is a natural fresh water spring. The location of this natural spring was obtained from Bulletin No.66 Springs of Florida published 2004 by the Florida Geological Survey. Additional information is provided by the author.

This information is intended for visitors, vacation planning, casual research and exploration. Canoeing, kayaking, camping, wildlife viewing, boating, swimming, and SCUBA, are popular recreactional pastimes at Florida's beautiful natural springs. While most of the major springs offer these opportunities, remember that not all springs are accessible to the public.

Memorial Day: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Steady temperature around 79. Breezy, with an east wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 8pm. Low around 69. Northeast wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. East northeast wind around 7 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Light west southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday Night: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
