Gator Spring Hernando County, Florida is a natural fresh water spring. The location of this natural spring was obtained from Bulletin No.66 Springs of Florida published 2004 by the Florida Geological Survey. Additional information is provided by the author.

This information is intended for visitors, vacation planning, casual research and exploration. Canoeing, kayaking, camping, wildlife viewing, boating, swimming, and SCUBA, are popular recreactional pastimes at Florida's beautiful natural springs. While most of the major springs offer these opportunities, remember that not all springs are accessible to the public.

This Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 82. Windy, with a south southwest wind around 23 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11pm. Some storms could be severe, with gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 70. Windy, with a southwest wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Thursday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8am, then a slight chance of showers between 8am and 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Windy, with a west wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. West wind 5 to 11 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 68. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Light south southwest wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 71. West southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 7 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 74.

Memorial Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
