For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Special Tropical Weather Outlook issued to discuss the area of low 
pressure over the central Atlantic.

Shower activity has decreased today in association with a broad area 
of low pressure located about 400 miles east-southeast of Bermuda.  
Some development of this system is still possible through tonight, 
and it could become a short-lived subtropical depression while it 
moves northwestward over the central Atlantic.  After that time, 
further development is not anticipated due to unfavorable 
environmental conditions.  The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook 
will be issued by 9 PM EDT today, or earlier if necessary.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.

Tonight: SE wind 5 to 9 kt becoming S after midnight. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 3 to 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop becoming smooth.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SE 5 to 8 kt in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 3 to 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth becoming a light chop.

Sunday Night: SE wind 5 to 7 kt becoming S after midnight. A slight chance of showers. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 8 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth.

Monday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NE 7 to 12 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 8 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth becoming a light chop.

Monday Night: E wind 11 to 13 kt. A chance of showers. Seas around 2 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop becoming a moderate chop.

Tuesday: E wind 15 to 17 kt. A chance of showers before 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2pm and 5pm, then showers likely after 5pm. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Tuesday Night: E wind 12 to 14 kt. Showers likely before 8pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 2am, then a chance of showers after 2am. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Wednesday: E wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Wednesday Night: SE wind around 9 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
